Years ago, I bought a food processor over a stand mixer because I read it can do the same as a stand mixer when used for baking. Does anyone have experience with both? Do you prefer one over the other (if you don't count the slicing and shredding features of the food processor, but mainly for say bread, cookies, etc)
I feel that when I use the food processor, there is more "clean up" - the bowl, the blade, the top, the part that goes into the feed tube and dough gets caught in the middle space of the blade attachment, just more "small" parts or uneven niches to clean while (if I'm thinking properly!), the stand mixer would just have the mixing bowl and the blade and maybe the pour guard? Am I thinking right?
