will do, the biggest thing I would like to see as an intermediate user is : simple on/off and set temp and go, or stop and set temp access. So, if I'm cooking something and want to lower the temp and off button and lower the temp (or raise) access should be more apparent. For the novice it is above and beyond user friendly! :-) First words when I opened it were "that little thing is sexy" (ok I admit it, I'm jealous LOL-guess I better hit the gym ;-)...)

I'm confused, it still says "This device has not been authorized as required by the rules of the Federal Communications Commission. This device is not, and may not be, offered for sale or lease, or sold or leased, until authorization is obtained. " so how are beta units being made available?

Beta testing in this case none of the units being tested were sold, leased (e.g. paid for). This is a trial period before the roll out. Yes we are fortunate, however, we don't get to keep them :-( and the time period is fixed. All i's dotted and T's crossed. It will be a bit of a tease when we have to send them back and wait for September but allows for a chance to test the user experience.

The start/stop button is there but b/c there's not label some might not assume that's what it's for (but it's pretty much on every screen). A simple label would fix it, but the lettering might not make it look as clean as it does now. Quite the balance. It also currently uses the timer from the time we set, not from the time it reaches temp (which is what I would personally prefer). But still slick as.....well you fill in the blank. :-)
