One of the annoying things about living in the US is cutlery sets come with one knife and only two spoons, so I have to look off shore for my flatware.

Luckily the English had too much midday sun and the GBP took a tumble, so I picked up 24 place settings with 10% off.

Excellent choice Tim, those are the same that I use in my home. My wife hates the knives, because their center of mass is very far back into the handle, making them incredibly prone to flipping off the plate when you clear dinner. (Pro tip: always push the silverware fully on to the plate when clearing up.)

My daily use flatware for the last 15 years is from Wheel & Barrow in Oz, but unfortunately they stopped carrying it a year or so after we bought it. The knives have the heavy handle that causes them to go all lemming like if you are not careful too.

The sound of stainless steel on terrazzo is common in the house when friends help clean up after dinners.
