Water cutting Boiled eggs
Ian_Jones_397349
Has anybody here used a water cutter on boiled eggs?
would it be hygienic?
I would really like cook the perfect boiled egg and then cut the top off with laser precision.
I reckon that would be pretty dope!

Not sure if this is a water cutter application, a laser application, or some kind of nanowire thing. Clearly, science and maths need to be done here.
Can we do it with an explosion?
Further research needed!

The hard boiled egg is hard, so I would go the
hydraulic press
route.

I'm not exactly sure what specific one you have in mind, however, just a brief internet search regarding water cutters puts a cheap on in the 4000-5000 USD range. If this, or one of the more expensive (highest i saw was about 40000 USD) is not what you had in mind, please provide a link to what you are referring to.
As far as hygienic, i can't see why it couldn't be made hygienic. As long as all your equipment has been thoroughly sanitized and the water source was pure, I can't see why it wouldn't be.
As far as cutting the egg itself, are you referring to just the shell, or the egg as well?
If you're just looking to remove the shell, I would think there would be cheaper ways, which are just as precise.
