Also from the land of kangaroo, I hate to disappoint. The original power specs on the Joules cannot do 240volts.

ChefSteps did have a banner at the top of the Joule website stating this, but this has been removed for some months.

It would be good if someone from ChefSteps can clarify the max power supply that Joule can be plugged into for the International buyers particularly in Australia where the power supply is 240volts.

I found the following in Joules's FAQ that confirms what I had said about not handling 240 volts. I have copied the text and added the link to the FAQ for your reading.

No. We currently have only a 120 V version available for preorder and shipping within the US. However, we are very committed to our international members, and we plan to expand to some international markets with a 220 V version. We hope to expand to international markets as soon as possible, but we do not currently have a firm ETA. Please note that the current design is not capable of operating safely on 240 VAC power and will not be covered by our warranty when used outside of the US.
