Cant wait to receive Joule! Been practising sous vide using just a thermomer but it's a pain having to check the temp often. Joule will make everything easy.

On the main page, it states all new pre-orders will be shipped from October.

For the Sept delivery, when is the cutoff point (eg Mar/Apr pre-orders?)

Hi Darren, welcome to the Maz's Cantina of sous vide.

Like you, I started out with the 'ghetto sous vide' methods. They work great, but of course require every bit as much hawking as traditional stovetop methods. And functionally you're limited to about a 2-hour cook. (Or at least I was; my patience would wear out) You end up with a really nicely cooked piece of fish, or pork chop, or whatever, but it's not fire-and-forget.

But it was definitely my gateway drug.

Oh good question. I was wondering about the fulfillment too because I just ordered mine recently and it still said September, but would everyone be bumped to October?

I don't think there is a "cut off" point per sa. It's most likely first come - first served. So the sooner you order it, the sooner it will be in your hands, after all orders before yours are fulfilled.
