I'm curious about the ability to clean the Joule? Recently having moved, the water at my new place leaves my Anovas absolutely coated in calcium even after just a short cook requiring scrubbing after every use. What can I expect as far as cleaning my two Joules I pre-ordered?

Exterior is cleaned using a damp cloth or sponge and wiping dry. Inside remove the base and small propeller and use a sponge or bottle brush to wipe out the inside. It is not to be cleaned in a dishwasher.

I have the same type of water. I also have a beta Joule...I just rinse it off and wipe it down..no problem. My Anova I have to spray the heating coil with hard water remover or vinegar regularly too. Joule is much easier to keep clean.
