Joule App

Just had a quick question about the joule app... Will the new app essentially be a replacement for the current Chefsteps app, or will we need both? One of the best features recently added to the CS app was the ability to view the premium content after signing in. Presumably, we will be able to do this with the Joule app as well, since visual doneness may be a feature in some of the recipes. As someone who will soon possess a Joule (SO excited), is there any need for me to keep the original Chefsteps app that is currently available?

The Joule app controls Joule and has some recipe guides, but not all of them. The Chefsteps app has all of the Chefsteps recipes, basic and premium. They have been working on the ChefSteps app so I don't believe it is going anywhere. The Joule app is not going to replace the ChefSteps app.

Hi Michael, the Chefsteps app has many other things beyond the Joule app, pressure cooking recipes, roasting, macaroons, deserts, smokerless/indoor smoking, outdoor smoked, stocks, glazes, deserts, and a partridge in a pear tree (I'm pretty sure that's only around xmas though). Tons available and highly recommend. Price can't be beat. :-)
