About those Apps...

While awaiting my Joule to ship, I figured I'd distract myself by trying the ChefSteps App. I was pleasantly surprised to see the Joule App was ready for us, and it looks awesome!

I noticed the two egg recipes only allow 194 degree eggs. I'm not sure if that's a bug or perhaps integration of the egg calculator is coming later, but you should probably clarify that, or fix it before reviewers ding you for it.

I will take you to task on the ChefSteps App though. I'm pretty shocked to see that it doesn't support landscape orientation. I understand why the Joule app needs to be portrait, but when showing heavy text content like the ChefSteps App does, you really need to support landscape orientation and allow text zooming.

I am still using the beta version as far as I know. They recently removed a bunch of content to put the final touches on it. The egg timer is one, it really is nice and they have a bunch more content that will be added before Joule is out.

What?!?! Talk about a great surprise to start my Friday. this is better than payday. thank you team for all the hard work that has gone/is still going into this product. So excited to play around with the new app.

I agree on the landscape for Chefsteps app. I use my iPad for my recipe book constantly but the kickstand only works when it's on its side! Harumph harumph!

Also, joule app is so much more than I ever anticipated. Good work team.

As @John_Fisher_218893 said the initial beta app has a lot of recipes that are not on the new app....if you like it now wait till the rest are put back on..
