Should I wait?

Hi! I am a big joule fan, but I live in europe, and since joule is not available yet, I was thinking of getting an A-nova for the moment and Joule whenever it comes out.. And today I got a promotion email from Anova, and there product is only at 100€!! which is very tempting ^^ My question is, do you think that joule will be ready in a 6 months timeline or not? because if not, I will probably buy the Anova to get started with..(promise I will still buy joule when it comes out ^^) Thanks in advance!

Pick up the anova, I have one and two joules on the way. By the time you get a joule as they are sold out, you'll have sou vide down and want a few more units. The tech in joule is allot nicer then the coil system in anova.

I have an Anova. It doesn't compair but it's a good starting point. After you get cooking sous vide you will want to have multiple devices. You can then cook more items at different temperatures. So if you can afford getting both, I would go for it. But if it's one or the other wait. While using a beta Joule, I'm only using my Anova as a backup or to cook multiple items form the same meal. Joule heats up so much faster and it's size makes it so much more convenient because you use it in any container.

Thanks! The thing is: I have access to many circulators at work (5+) and I can borrow one of them when ever I want.. I just wanted to have one for myself, and since I moved to a bigger place now, I can find a place for a water bath.. so I don't mind waiting a little bit for joule.. The big question is by how much?

Not sure when it will be ready for you, but if it b is one or the other, yes wait. I have a polyscience and anova and am beta testing Joule. As @John_Fisher_218893 said, no comparison. My Anova is now for sale.... to make room for another Joule. :-)
