no 220V?

Hi, i'm from Russia and have ordered Joule from the very beginning, but to my friend's US adress, because you didn't have worldwide shipping. Don't you still send worldwide? Did i miss something or what? anyway, i'm surprised Joule is only 110V and a bit disapointed... But it looks like my friend is getting a great present))) Hope you make 220V version soon. They never did senders wide. They have said they're working on 220v for international sales, but as it's still a ways off, they have no estimated release date.

That's not true. They said Sep 2016 for the international version. That's why I've waited to buy an immersion circulator. Now I see that was fantasy, so I think I'll be buying one from a professional manufacturer. I'm irritated that ChefSteps lost me a year of low-temp cooking by making up a supply date and then simply going quiet.

Will Joule be sold internationally? Or just in the US?

Can you provide a source where they said differently? I ask this, because a few months ago, they had some problems with meeting a desired ship date, and September 2016 is the month that domestic pre-orders are going to begin shipping. I would like to know where you got your information.

Paul so sorry if you understood that. I am an avid reader of everything ChefSteps and I have never seen anything that would lead me to believe the international version would be available in September 2016. I know they are diligently working on the hardware and/or could have it but the bigger issue is meeting all the regulations, and obtaining the certifications and/or licenses required for every country. The 220V version requires a total redesign due to the thick film heating element having so much power. Hitting a 110 volt Joule model with 220 volts could have catastrophic consequences. IMHO ChefSteps has been nothing but totally open and transparent.
