Silence is Deafening

The bankrupt cargo ships were offloaded a couple weeks ago, so that's not the excuse. I cant wait to hear what CS has to say on October First. Yes I know there are 8 days left in September, but at this point CS is making Sean Murray look like he has loose lips. Seriously, feels like waiting on Half Life 3, only I did not preorder Half Life 3.

Did the community so massively over-hype Joule 3 that it could never live up to the expectations set forth by Joule 1 or 2? And, lets not forget the absoutly amazing Joule 2e2... Come on, you have to remember the media coverage of Joule 2e2 "The Best Cooking Interment EVER MADE!!!" There is no way Joule 3 could ever live up to the hype, so.... lets not actually release Joule 1.

I don't understand why people are clamoring before the end of the promised shipping window. Since the originally promised May shipping date was pushed (which I predicted in the forums days before the dreaded delay announcement), I've adjusted my anticipation of Joule to begin shipping at 11:59 PM on September 30, unless I hear otherwise. But in the "silence" vein, I haven't been receiving the weekly CS newsletter the past two Fridays. Wondering if I'll get one tomorrow. Or maybe they're just not wanting to draw attention in fear it'll only remind us that we haven't yet received the most amazing immersion circulator ever, which they promised us last year, for which we've already plopped down the coin. New prediction: We will be informed, by press release, from their attorneys, that the Joule program, by no fault of CS, has been suspended indefinitely due to legal, financial and production snafus, that they will make every effort to re-organize and come back even stronger with a new launch date ... and of course that they're sorry for the hopefully-temporary inconvenience. If I'm wrong everyone will be happy and my JPR (Joule prediction record) will stand at 1-1.
