I ordered Jan. 14th - no shipping confirmation in the first round (though I'm sure it will be soon!), but I'm curious as to when the first round was originally ordered. I'm order #52860

ok I ordered my first one:

The next 3 were ordered:

I have not received any additional info, nor do I expect until late October.

I am guessing you are a couple weeks away or so by the numbers stated i.e. "a couple of hundred a day" if it runs as it has, you should be 13 to 15 days behind (your order being a couple thousand behind mine)

Hope this helps my math should be sound...I haven't started drinking this morning...

I ordered on 12/1. Not in the first round. @Max_Foster_18996reported ordering on 11/27 and got his shipping confirmation yesterday. That's the closest bookend I've seen on the first round of shipments.

If we go by the order number, there is more than 9000 orders between you and byrdie. If this is accurate, that's a lot of joules shipped in a short time.

Not sure you can determine anything by the order numbers. I had a confirmation email at 8 am Pacific on 11/24. On it my number was listed as:

The number in my profile is 50686, much higher than Byrdie's and HammeredChef's.

I ordered mine on Nov. 24th. I haven't received an email of shipment, but I probably will soon. And even if I don't, meh, no biggie. I know everyone at ChefSteps is working their buttocks off and I appreciate it. I'll get it when I get it.

I think number don't mean anything. I ordered the first one in Feb 16 and my nunber is #40185 lower than yours.

FWIW, my order number is #34395 and I ordered on 25 November. byrdie ordered on 24 Nov and has #40249! So, order number must not mean what we think it does.
