Anxiously Awaiting

I ordered in July and was told I'd receive it in September. Tomorrow is the last day of the month. Dare I expect it then or continue the wait?

You need to work on your patience bro. I ordered mine Dec 5th of Last year. Its on the way. You should have it soon or maybe you will have to wait just a bit longer but its coming.

I would love to see what made you think you would have it by September. After the May estimate was found to be in error, once they have us the new September timeline, it was that they'll begin shipping, not that we would all have it, in September. In chef Chris Young's update, he provides an estimate of when we all might expect to see them.

A lot of folks keeps saying that ChefSteps told us the Joule would start shipping in September. I've seen it countless times this month. I don't think that's a 100% accurate statement.

I think the reason so many have been upset this past few weeks is because they were told their Joule would ship in September, just like I was told mine would (see attached screenshot from email dated 20 June 2016). Not complaining here, just pointing out the evidence contrary to your statement.

I'm just calmly joining everyone else in silent celebration as they receive their prized rewards for the long wait. I can't wait for the next couple weeks!

True true. While I wish I had it in September, I can continue to patiently wait another week or two for my Joule to arrive. After all, I have already waited for nearly 9 months, what's another few days at this point, am I right?! Seeing all these photos of eggs cooking is making me even more excited!

You may not have yours until sometime in October. People who ordered theirs LAST year November- December seem to be getting Joule this week.

It would have been nice if they would have simply stated that delivery takes 8 months to a year. That way you would know in advance how long the wait would be. If people who ordered in October - December of 2015 are just now receiving theirs I now know I have a much longer wait then anticipated. I guess they needed the capital to begin production. I wish I'd ordered another brand back in July but I just did earlier this week. I'll at least not be a novice when the Joule arrives.

Deliver does not take 8 months to a year. The reason folks who ordered them towards the end of last year is that the product Joule was not available for sale just then. It was open for pre-order. They had a projected release in May, but due to manufacturing problems and the FCC, they were unable to meet this estimate. The September/October 2016 shipping is to satisfy all of the pre-orders, first come/first serve. You ordered in July, however, you're not going to have to wait until July 2017 before you receive it.
