Joule timer

Is there any way to put a timer on my joule to have it go off completely?

I'm trying to get it into standby mode after a cook without doing anything besides setting a timer.

When you plug Joule in it is in standby. Just the white LED and WiFI/Bluetooth receiver but nothing else. It stays in standby mode until you set a temperature at that point the heater and circulation motor come on. The great thing about that is if you have it in a water bath you can start it where ever you are and when you get home the water will be at temperature ready to start cooking. So I think it already does what you want. You can turn it off with the app or by pressing down on the top and holding until it turns off.

No. Standby would be ok. No heater and no circulation is what I'm looking for.

I don't know any more about the power requirements than are listed on the specs page. I'd check out the power ratings of the outlet timer and compare them to the requirements of the joule.

So do I understand you right, you don't want to have Joule in the bath on standby? On standby the only thing running is a small white LED light, the heater and circulation motor are off.

Ok thanks. Was going to buy an outlet timer but first wanted to check if the app could do it. And perhaps you know if I need to buy a certain timer that can handle the joule power output or just a plain old timer?

I'm not sure if there's anything with the app, but these things work rather well for that sort of thing.
