What's in a name?

Curious what people named their Joule upon set up. I was rushing and went with Joule, minus the digits originally appended. Yeah, no originality here. Plus, I like "Joule."

Any fun, original names? Tempted to rename it yet? (I find I dislike calling Joule "it." Does that make me weird?!)

Yes, please I want a clear one too. I am not to creative, Joule 1 and when my second arrives Joule 2. But I Stiill want "crystal ice", lol.

I've never particularly understood the desire to name inanimate objects, other than a phone being a phone, a tv a tv, etc. Mine's going to be 1 of 2 things: a Joule, or an immersion cirulator.

I'm seriously considering"Bob". But then pretty much everything inanimate that has a name is named "Bob" in my kitchen. For example my sourdough starter is named "Bob", although there have been several restarts of him so the current starter is named "Bob The Successor Part III".

I'm a January pre-order, so I don't have mine yet, but after seeing the initial video on the phone app where the water is circulating out of Joule, I'm naming mine "Old Faithful". That replaces my earlier name of "The Pasteur-ator".
