Just a quick note to say THANK YOU to ChefSteps for including Echo/Alexa support with Joule.

For a future feature, how about a cooking update so Joule/Echo announces 5 or 10 minutes before Joule is finished cooking something?

Anyone have any other Joule/Echo feature ideas?

Regarding the feature request, Alexa does not support the ability for us to push a notification yet. We believe Amazon will support that at some point.

Would love to leave a review but Alexa couldn't see Joule. What's the trick?

Skill is enabled. Joule/Alexa connected to same wi-fi. Joule is on. Alexa just keeps giving "welcome" message.

Yes, you have to go into the Alexa app, enable the (Joule) skill under Skills, and then it's a matter of how you ask Alexa things. Try "Alexa, ask Joule to heat the water to 175 degrees Fahrenheit".
