More than one Joule

Tried cloning the app, which got me running both Joule's but couldn't control both (kinda like my kids :-)...). I'll probably install the app on my ipad or similar (old phone wasn't up to snuff). In the interim, if others have success (or ideas) let me know. Cuz the worst thing in life is having 2 Joules.

Sorry, just picked this up, are you saying that we cannot control more than one Joule with app? i have bought 3, so i could use them at the same time cooking different things.

Correct. You're going to need three different devices with Wi-Fi/Bluetooth capabilities with the Joule app installed to control your three Joules

That is bad! it shouldn't be that hard to have an ID per Joule and be able to select them in a list on the app. (like bluetooth... like a lot of things actually.) CS, is that something we can hope to see updated in the app? i have two Ipads and two iphone, but it's kinda lame to not be able to control all your Joules from a single device.

When I cloned the app, that's what I essentially ended up doing (unpairing) and it does work, just not as smooth as having 2 apps or a choice of two devices in one app.

Todd as I have iOS I can't clone apps. I am wondering if you can make a new CS account and sign into the cloned app as a different CS user? If so can you pair a second Joule that way? With iOS pairing and un-pairing is the only way I was thinking I could contol two Joules with one device until they release a version of the app that has that capability. I am waiting for my second Joule, didn't order it until April.

Thought of that but haven't had the chance to test it out as yet. :-)

@John_Fisher_218893 tried it early this am - cloned the app and used a different email address etc worked for controlling two joules. Only tried it twice, but it worked. The clone app crashed once but came right back up when I tried again. Mark me stubbornly happy. :-)

I looked and ios also has app cloning apps. App cloner, app duplicator etc
