Who gets it first?

Let's see how this goes. I ordered my Joule on the Aug 9 fire sale, and my brother just told me he ordered a Joule last week. Technically he is on the 6-8 week schedule, but with the rate at people are saying the orders are going through, we'll see who gets what first.

I tried ordering one this week and they are not accepting any new orders. I already got my first one but want a second. I am considering ordering an Anova for my second.

DONT DO IT! wait for the Joule, I have both. After a couple of weeks with the Joule picking up the Anova is like dragging a boat anchor around the kitchen.....and it doesn't always work properly (several on the forum here have had issues)

Yes, you should've seen the update in your email by now. Good news is that you got your answer: you will receive your pre-ordered Joule before your brother gets his.

I ordered Aug 8 and did not receive this email. Just trying to figure out if everyone got this update or just a select group of preorders.

The Anova rocks! I love mine. Never had a problem, not once in the year that I've been using it (heavy use) has it failed.

Weird...I posted a picture of the delay email but I don't know why it didn't attach to this comment. Oh well, we know the emails went out.
