I put all the shipment data I could find into a spreadsheet and used a linear fit to predict ship dates. I doubt the shipments will stay linear for long as orders per day decline and shipments per day increase, but in the short term this is as good a guess as any. I'm expecting my January 15th order to ship by October 28th.
I'll update as more people post with ship dates.
As a mechanical engineer who has worked for years in R&D, new product development, and manufacturing, I understand all too well the problems that can arise in a product release such as this. I personally think ChefSteps are doing an excellent job. Keep up the good work!
