Sorry for the prolonged absence. It's been a busy year. I am starting a new venture and I hope youll be a part of it. I am going to launch a youtube channel that is devoted to people in food service. From every country, every position, from disher, to restaurant owner, this channel is for us all. It will be like the local bar we sometimes hit after-hours to decompress. A place to be among the only other people who know what we do and why we do it. I feel there are a lot of bogus representations of what it's really like to make a living serving food and I want a place that we can call our own. The Chef Steps forum has been for me, a special place where I can go be with people who understand me more than even my wife and family. It is a collection of professionals, up and coming cooks, foodies, etc. A place where all are welcome and have something to share. I can't tell you how much I value that. I don't know what the rules are for soliciting people here so I will just say if this sounds good to you, respond to this post. *If I am breaking some forum rules I deeply apologize. Like I said, this place is special to me.....and I am not trying to get on anyone's bad side. Set me straight and Ill fly right. It's good to be back. I can't wait to see what you have all been up to.
