Joule app content

I don't recall seeing this discussed previously so forgive me if it's been covered. I've noticed that the Joule app has free icons on the existing guides. I assume this means at some point we will be seeing paid content. Does anyone know if this future content will fall under our benefits a premium members? I was a member of the beta testing for the app this summer and there were quite a few items that have since been removed and at that time there were not icons indicating free vs paid content. I assume we will start seeing more content once they get a handle on shipping just curious if anyone knows more?

I do know that when I was doing beta testing on Joule and the app, I asked the question about the content that is not there now. I was told that they wanted to rework those and they would return once they were up to their standards. I would also like to know about the free, I assume in the future there will be premium content. But that is my guess.

Fingers crossed! While I gladly would have paid more for the premium content, I would feel mislead if that "one-time payment" didn't include all the Joule recipes.

There's (was?) a paid premium membership. Also some of the classes are paid, others are free.

Sorry, i chose my words poorly. Chefsteps used to sell their classes individually.... They now have chefsteps premium, that includes all current and future "premium content".

The exact phrasing:

"We’re offering ChefSteps Premium for a one-time payment. Not monthly, not yearly, no subscriptions or recurring fees, just a single one time payment. While we may release new products in the future, Premium members will always have access to the full library of ChefSteps classes and recipes at no future cost."

I would be disappointed if they tried to make a different "premium account" for joule content.

With that said, I have no issues with a third party making content for the app, and selling it. (Kind of like a cook book)

Grant: "Well...so when you get Joule...once you have the app...there will be a ton of free content in there for you to try out...and there'll probably be all sorts of great content in the future for you to purchase too. If you think about like, magazines or cooking techniques, lots of great stuff for you to buy."
