Hey community, happily cooking with Joule - quick question on best-practices for some of the simple care. I am familiar with the "more involved" options for the vinegar bath, or for the removal of the bottom + impeller for more thorough cleanings.
But for simple post-cook usage, aside from the suggested quick external wipe-down + drying, I wonder about the remaining bits of water that are contained around the base, maybe even in the threading of the screw-on base. My previous circulator was the Sansaire which had a detachable plate near the base that I would remove, and then I'd let the entire circulator insides air dry overnight before storage. Perhaps through habit, with Joule, so far, I have been unscrewing the cap, wiping dry, and then letting it air-dry further, hopefully preventing moisture being trapped. Then, re-screw and store.
Overkill for Joule? Good best practice?
Cheers,
-Nico
