Go to the Recipe: Double chocolate cookies
OK I just made these cookies. There was some confusion with the recipe in that it calls for butter, melted. So I melted it. I did notice that further down the instructions it clearly said to cream the butter. Big difference between melted butter and creamed butter. So because I had already melted 2 cubes of butter I went with it. Well..... I have to say that these cookies were a complete disaster, no they were more than a disaster, they were thrown out.
Could he mean butter, softened. Would the first recipe I know, you start of melted butter.
