ive waited so long, finally! a real recipe!
Can't wait to try this... but don't be dissing my Ranch Dressing Cheese Log! ;-)
Was that a Better Off Dead reference? The dip title, that is.
I just moved to Melbourne from Santa Barbara and I have been craving the ranch dressing dream since I touched down... so happy now.
I wonder if I'm the only American who doesn't like ranch?
Dissing? More like eagerly awaiting the recipe, Ted.

Just a note, although the ingredients section mention a blender, I wouldn't recommend it, the texture becomes very thin. Also, it turns the dip green
So sorry for the confusion (and the green dip)! The blender is for the mayo, should you choose to make it at home. We've added a clarification.
the quantity of Mayo seems light, is it really only 25 grams of mayo per 200 grams of sour cream?
Hi Jeff! Yup! Let us know what you think if you give it a try!
I don't have egg powder .. do i use a egg or wait till i can get the powder?
OMG! This is amazing! I made this recipe last night and it is by far the BEST Ranch dressing I've ever had! I am official "The Mother of the Year" according to my family! Kudos ChefSteps...you've done it again! BRAVO BRAVO!
Ranch dressing was never high on my list of condiments, but it is now. Once again ChefSteps has knocked it out of the park and I will making this often.
OMG;;;
If I was to use dried herbs would I need to use more or less for the amounts listed?
Yes!!! Looks soo tasty!))
I want to recommend one more salad recipe - Tomato Salad https://greenann.com/recipe/tomato-cucumber-salad/
Need:
2 Tomatoes
3 Cucumbers
1 Red Onion
2 sprigs of Fresh dill
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Pinch of Sea salt
Pinch of Black Pepper
Try))
Added MSG and buttermilk to thin it out a bit. Oh and there's chicken katsu under there somewhere It was most excellent. the large proportion of fresh herbs is what really makes it worth it vs store bought.
