Go to the Recipe: How to Grill Perfectly Charred Sweet Onions
Here in Argentina we cook them (while grilling of course) in a different way. Our barbecue usually uses wood or natural coal and often grill for longer times and smoke meats, etc etc we usually wrap them in aluminum foil and toss them in the fire/under the coals. Maybe a hit of olive oil, salt and pepper before wrapping. Sometimes even just with the peel! You should try them that way. You really should.
I love this Tomás, thank you.
I've seen in Argentina that you also grill whole tomatoes, I cannot find a recipe / guide though. Is it as simple as roasting them in ash?
