I'm sure everyone on the team is hard at work getting Joule's shipped (and mine is great!) but was just curious how often new content/recipes usually come?

Probably more frequently when all Joules are shipped and people have stopped complaining about not getting theirs.

...when all Joules are shipped?
Won't they just keep making more Joules Nathan?

Of course they will Dumble Dork! I am just talking about the preorders.

I believe Chris mentioned that Grant is 'at it' working on new content as the CS team are sending out the Joule's. In the meantime, you have the ability of setting your own time's and temp's on Joule. (not sure if you were aware of that so I mention it).

It is sort of weird that, with a team as big as CS's (over 50 people, according to their website), there has been zero new content (no recipes, no videos, no updates to the app) in over two months. What I have heard from ChefSteps over the past few months have been ads; ads on Gastropod, the Sporkfull, and Cooking Issues (not to mention Facebook). I don't mind that at all... I really like hearing ChefSteps popping up on my favorite podcasts. But whattup with the crew? I have a hard time imagining that Grant is sweating over a huge pile of Joules, slapping shipping labels on them and sending out notification e-mails. It's much easier to imagine Ben or Nick doing that.

You can suck my Dork Nathan

For those of you are bored waiting for new content, here's one from the archives. It is of one of my group's fishing and abalone dives and the resulting food prep and feast. It's done tongue in check, so don't take it too seriously.

My guess is that they're working on more extensive content, specifically for Joule, to provide more value for Joule customers, as opposed to the current content that is more general and short.

This Week at ChefSteps: Halloween Candy and Steamy White Fish Soup
10/21/2016

The candy recipe is over two years old; the fish soup is more than a month old. I'm not complaining, but it's not like there's a ton of new content coming out.

Based on different Instagram accounts, it looks like they are busy working on making new Thanksgiving guides.
