Go to the Recipe: Yukon Gold Potatoes
Any tips for getting a strong vacuum seal without sucking oil up into the machine?
Perhaps a dumb question, but how many ounces/grams are in a "large" Yukon?
Wow! Such a good recipe! I would like to cook it, but I don't have enough time. I prefer to cook more simple dish ( boil potatoes). I love to eat boil potatoes with meat and fish!I took recipe how long to boil potatoes here club.cooking/articles/how-long-to-boil-potato/
I'm confused why you are confused?
Do Sweet Potatoes for 30 min.
No. But cook them the same.
@Ron Miller I'm confused as to how you missed step 1 where they tell you the time and temperature to cook it at
How would this work on Sweet Potatoes?
Are Yukon Gold similar to our (UK) Jersey new potatoes? If so, we love them cooked with butter, salt and lots of mint leaves.
I see on step 1 above "For potatoes that are tender but with their firm structure intact, we recommend cooking at 194 °F / 90 °C for about 1 hour.". Do you not see this on your view?
The app says time and temp. Maybe they want to direct you there?
I am a little confused as to why the recipes on ChefSteps no longer contain cooking temperatures and times. There is a link at the top that says something about using Messenger to find this out, but I don't understand how or why we should need to use Facebook to use a recipe. Even more confusing is that clicking on the Messenger link just brings me into Messenger. What am I supposed to do next?
