I just saw that Ellen updated the FAQ's last night - I can't recall but I thought they use to day that they were forecasting all pre-orders to be shipped by the end of October (maybe that was a Chris post?). Then there was an update saying that the August (late July?) sale orders would ship by the end of November. Currently they are just saying they will be shipped in the order they were received. Sad Face!
Before all the haters start bashing me, yes, yes, I know its a pre-order and this is business as usually when you crowd fund something. But to be honest telling that to someone who is disappointed that won't change their mind. If you want to defend chefsteps why don't you post your own thread instead of trolling someone else's?
I have no experience in how to forecast shipments but I would expect it to look something like this...we have x number of order, we expect to be able to process y number of shipments/business day, so x/y=number of days to fulfill orders. Am I way off base here? Maybe the Joules are not rolling in from China as fast as CS was promised. But hey what do I know, I'm just a lowly customer that pre-ordered a product and should expect to be kept in the dark.
