When it comes to determining whether a source’s essential oils are food-safe, what would you recommend keeping in mind? I’ve wanted to acquire some neroli for a few syrups, but I’ve had an awful time finding local (Canadian) sources that seem trustworthy, and I certainly don’t want to serve friends (or hopefully, eventually strangers) anything that isn’t food-safe and food-grade. It would help if I could find a source with something I can point to for a food inspector, as well.
I would love more recipes/ideas using essential oils!
