Any way to make it without a juicer -- like totally blending fruit and then straining the juice?
It would depend on how low you can set your home oven, most can not get bellow 170, you could leave the door open to try to dump some humidity and heat. That is why we like these countertop ovens so much. they can be set down to 80f. But It is worth a try with a cheaper batch. Also the extra heat will make it have more of a "cooked" flavor.
you can try out the jam one, but if you grab your favorite store bought juice and jump to the pectin step it will work out for you.
This might be a fool's errand, but if Pectinase was used to clarify fruit juice, would the enzyme remain active and neutralize Freezer Pectin, or does Pectinase loose it's impact over time? I'm wondering if it is possible make rollups out of the ChefSteps Bitter Orange Juice recipe or if it wouldn't ever set
