Siphon question (gas release)

Hi all.

I was testing my siphon with CO2 chargers, but almost all of the CO2 gas just went out of the "vent" (or the "spraying area") of the siphon. I tried one charger without a "tip" and with a tips - and the gas just went out anyways.

I have noticed this wit NO2 chargers as well, but then I just shake it (so the gas gets mixed in the batter or whatever) - but not as much with the CO2 chargers.

Any advice?

Have you checked all the seals on the siphon? Sometimes its also a case of the spring under the trigger isn't returning the tip far enough up and it releases the gas.

+ 1 @TJ_17422 it takes only the tiniest particle of something in or around the little plunger and seals to stop it from working. remove the lid, turn it over, hold the tip on the out side and unscrew it....push down on the release lever and the little plunger should slide out....make sure it is clean AND USE THE LITTLE BRUSH to clean out the orfice that the plunger goes in...
