Awesome๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐how long are we talking about in terms of storage?
Very nice!
How much time can we preserve these for ?
in a good air tight container they should keep for a month or so. to help you can always throw in a food grade silica packet
a month or so with proper storage
This is cereals taken to the ultimate level, thank you Chefsteps, this is truly a labor of love...
What is better than a recipe that makes you drool, but you know you will never ever get to eat?
No one can beat ChefSteps IG!
I've looking for something to do with my time during this quarantine
I produced the mini croissant out of the dough leftover
I think I just lost my mind for 1 minute and 23 seconds.
April 1st came around really fast again ๐
Looks tasty
This is rad! Thanks for sharing and all the amazing cooking recipes & tips the last couple months.
We were in the process of selling our house in anticipation of a big move over the last month so there was a cooking ban in effect to avoid grease and odor issues. My wife has basically been living off Cinnamon Toast Crunch during this. This recipe was the first thing I made for her after we sold and aside from the making sure the triangles were cold enough to roll this was an easy labour of love. Thanks for the project Chefsteps.
OMG you guys are awesomely crazy. I canโt stop looking at these perfect little baby croissants! Now to go and search out a dehydrator. Canโt wait to try these.

Hello. How long the shelf life of this cereal croissant?
My sister and I made this recipe and it was absurdly fun. We got a huge kick out of it! One tip we discovered that was helpful: we put the rolled out rectangles on ice packs with parchment paper in between to keep them cold while rolling up the croissants. It helped a lot!
wont need a silica pack or anything?

what if we don't have a dehydrator? what should we do instead
?
Bake at a very low temperature until they are dry and crispy on the inside. Remove them from the oven and allow it to cool then do the final bake.
Your shi**ting me.. This is the most boujee cereal I've ever seen. Going to have to build a wicked playlist and roll up some of these impressive delights!
These are very tasty. As satisfying as it was to finally see these come to fruition, I can honestly say I will never make these again. It's just so labor intensive and tedious. I only got through half the dough and I couldn't fathom rolling anymore of them lol. If you have the patience, it's definitely a fun project to take on.
Could you replace the croissant dough with puff pastry, following all of the other steps (besides the proofing of course)?
