would you assume same / similar ratios with vodka? Espresso martini's need an upgrade
Hmmm, that's a really interesting question. I can't say that I really know the answer. But that's where I would start. The solubility into ethanol is likely really different, and some trial-and-error is going to be needed. I would really be interested in learning what you find out if you give it a go.
works like a charm! Great coffee taste, possible more bitterness than needed so I may try again with less time 'brewing'.espresso martini recipe - 2:1:0.5 (cold brew coffee vodka: espresso: sugar syrup[1:1])
I make my cold coffee regulary for a nice cool refreshment. I use Hario V60 and grind the beans a little courser than when i brew regular coffee. Then I swap about 1/3 of the water with ice cubes and make the coffee like hot coffee only i brew it in a container with the ice cubes and put it in the fridge. Then I serve it with ice cubes. I prefer lightly roasted beans, primarily from Kenya, as they have the right balance of sweetness and acidity.
How do you think you brew differs from my? Is it any point for me to try yours when it takes 2 hours and my method takes 5 minutes?
Can i use the same technology to make tea infusion?
yes
Hi
I have the 1lt Isi whipper, the literature says mo more the 2 chargers.. Is 3 safe for long term use will it damage my isi whipper
I believe in a Dave Arnold lesson he said the ISI's are safe to use 2 charges but they do not recommend it in recipies because there is a chance people will use cheap non-ISI's which may subsequently explode.
For future readers: I used three 8 gm charges in my 1 L iSi, and it did not explode.
