I'm looking to get the thermoworks ThermaQ recommended by the ChefSteps team.
I've found the long, straight probes that Thermoworks recommends for oil/candy, but in Chefsteps videos I see them using a yellow sealed wire clipped to the side of the pot with a binder clip.
What probe is being used in the videos? It looks like it would be convenient and stay out of the way when cooking and stirring. Thanks!
