Pastry Rods from Krispy Kreme Donuts

So, I was wondering if anyone has any details on the pastry rods, I think it's Nick, was using in the Krispy Kreme donuts video?

I've been looking around for something like that but I keep getting led astray by stuff that isn't that.

And from what I can gather they are some sort of steel cut to what I presume are pretty common sizes, which I think is a great time/space saving idea rather than the common things I've seen.

Anyone have any idea where they got them, or if they had them made what they did to have them made?

Hi Josh, I couldn't find them either. So I improvised, five gallon paint stiring sticks are 1/4 " thick, I used two of them and wrapped them with plastic wrap to hold the two together. So I got six of them, it worked great. They measure 1 3/8" wide, 21" long and 1/4 " thick. The best thing is that I got them for free, just ask at your local big box home center, most paint stores will give them to also. Use Three for 3/4 ".

I'm curious about this as well. Can't find them. Closest I could find were confectioner rails and food pan rails.
