Hi Jake. I usually save the flower ends of my Basil plants and dehydrate in a convection oven around 50-60C and it works superbly, so yes it should.
Close but certainly its own thing. Biggest difference is that Old Bay is super heavy on celery seed salt.
Never tried Old Bay.... is this close to it in taste?
You folks would post a recipe like this a few weeks after i received 680 g of Old Bay Seasoning, lol
