If you're looking to do espresso your minimum grinder should be the Baratza Sette 270 (or 270wi), not the 30. While not step less, the 270 offers significantly finer control over the grind, which is critical to making good espresso. An added bonus is that the burrs for the 270 are in a metal assembly over plastic.
