ok so heres the deal guys, this recipe was really good. the subtle sweetness from the strawberries was really well done as well as the heat from the fresno chili. Such a simple recipe for some really good flavors. I gotta say (for me) it needed salt to make the flavors pop. Also 2 things, 1 make sure to get a really solid char on the garlic and peppers and 2 the colder the dish the better so make sure to let the strawberries cool as well as the chilis or prep and refrig before hand . Good $H!t guys at CS.
This dish is going to make me look like I know how to cook
This recipe should have more comments because it's amazing. I've made it several times for guests and it always impresses. Note that this can surprisingly skew toward face meltingly spicy so consider altering the peppers depending on your audience. Also I often need several more citrus fruits for the same amount of juice. Maybe a northeast thing. Anyway, this one should get featured again sometime.
This was great! Like the other commenter said, very very spicy, would lower the amount of chili by 1/2. Also you can use 2x the amount of protein while keep the rest of the recipe the same. I doubled the broth and had a ton left over
totally agree ! A must for this dishes is serving cold … I usually keep the plate in the freezer before plating
