Go to the Article: Measure by Weight: Why You Should Use a Scale
Measuring by weight is a game changer. So simple, less clean up for me, and super easy to scale.
I am 100% on board with measuring by weight. However, there are too many recipes I want to try that still use volumetric. Do you have a calculator to recommend or a converter in the works for us who want to still use the scales?
You can get the general correct weights by googling them, how ever if we created a tool it would still inherently be inaccurate. Since each recipe might have had measurements taken slightly different.
It would be most accurate if you took the weights of your own dry measure and used them as your standard replacement.
I love measuring by weight. I don't understand why anyone who bakes would do it any other way. HOWEVER, why do you measure liquids by grams?
It simply comes down to accuracy.
