Go to the Recipe: Neon Mignonette
Raw oysters (preferably Island Creeks) are one of my favorite foods. But I always figure it is crazy that you are paying $3.50 a bite for the actual taste of a particular oyster growing location, only to cover up that taste with a mignonette sauce. You might as well dump A1 sauce on your dry-aged steak. So I only add a couple of drops of lemon juice. But mignonettes are so delicious, I always save the last two from every dozen for the mignonette!
