Hey, glad to hear they came out great! I haven't explored re-therming them but due to the fact that they are so thin and cooked through I think that should work fine. Obviously you will want to run a couple tests before going full send though. Because they cook so fast (5 min) fresh or from frozen what benifit do you have in mind for pre cooking them?
Hi, they came out great. You know if they can be made In a combi as a Rational o Mychef, in big batches, and store for late service?
I grew up eating these all the time (but especially after several beverages that were intended for adults - which I was not.) Since I've been a vegetarian ever since then, it is one of the few things I kinda miss. I suppose I could try it with Impossible burger, but actually maybe tempeh would be good.
Made these for the Sunday night football game and they turned out delicious. Loved that I was able to do the prep ahead of time and have melty cheesy soft delicious burgers in time for the game.
I cooked mine on my electric griddle which was great since I could do six at a time. I covered with a full sheet pan which was the perfect size to keep the steam in. My edges got a little crispy though - I would have preferred softer. I had the griddle temp set at 350 which seemed close to medium but maybe was a little to high. What temp would you recommend?
