I am having a hard time finding Garlic Chives. Any suggestions on specialty stores? Also, would regular chives be the most natural substitute?
Michael,
Regular chives will work just fine. You might check Asian markets if you have any nearby: Garlic chives = Chinese chives = gow choy = ku chai.
I can find them at H mart, korean store.
Thank you guys, Im from Dominican Republic and sadly we do not have the large extension of ingredients/spices as you do and because of that now I can twist every dish I get inspired by you guys. Thank you,
Diego.
My local specialty store carries green nira grass which is equivalent.

Garlic chives are also great to have in your garden (if you have a garden…) – not only do they taste great, they will also keep away snales and other things that want to eat your produce before you can.
How long will this last please?
