Really good class
This is the best resource on coffee that is available on the internet. It took me an hour and a half to go through it, and it has given me practical knowledge that can help me get started right away. My favourite lesson on ChefSteps so far (and that is saying something)!
Thanks guys, the best thing about this course - all the essential information in a very concise and easy to follow format. Brilliant job...
Thank you so much Saptarshi! That is great to hear!
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it, Malcolm!
Thank you!
Just went nonstop through the class! Awesome information and great videos. Moreover, I absolutely love the approach and attitude Charles and Scott display. Very refreshing.
Best class ever!
Thank you!!!
Thanks for the class - straightforward and easy to follow. I especially love the part in which you guys talked about the different "myths" of espresso... Seriously this can be the Espresso 101 course for people aspiring to become a professional barista!
Awesome course BUT... my Gaggia is currently in a shipping container somewhere on an ocean... I'll have to wait a couple more months before I can put this into practice :-(
I must admit, although I'm a professional chef, it had never crossed my mind to measure espresso. I took the course yesterday, and would say I was doing about 75% of the things right. But MEASURING my espresso this morning, was like, wow… now my morning giddy up isn't awesome only a few days a week! Great thorough course guys. All in all, I love the site, and have learned a lot. You guys have made me confident to step outside the box of my conventional training, and try different techniques that I've incorporated into my menu's. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for this class, amazingg!!!
Amazing work you guys did!! The whole world will thank you! Cheers, and God bless!
It'll be that much sweeter when you finally get that baby set up...
It's here. It's been unpacked, cleaned and de-scaled. But the transformer blew (110v machine, 220v country). A few days delay but we are finally in business... I'm buzzing like a maniac.
Super!! I have to thank my lucky stars I stumbled across ChefSteps, you guys are amazing and to put this out on the web for free is fantastic! This has taken my home barista efforts to a whole different level, and I am now thinking of turning this into a profession, and retire from a high stress position managing a company. I will spread the word.
Thank you ,thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Sad the previous James Hoffman stuff on coffee isn’t as prevalent now
