FedEx really dragged their heels on the deliver of my Joule (ordered 1/14/16) and yet when it finally; I have never been so excited for a kitchen appliance in my life. I ran out to the store to pick up a 2'' cut prime porterhouse because if I'm gonna do something, I make sure I do it right. I also grabbed some fresh Bay and Thyme like the recipe suggested. I love rare/medium rare steaks but tend to overcook them more often then I would like so you can imagine how happy I am there is little to no way to mess up operation of Joule. Anyway here are the pictures I snapped while cooking.

Stripped, Golden, and Red beets for a spinach feta salad. Sadly forgot to take after shots; but I can tell you their flavor was SUPER strong and I don't think I will be preparing beets any other way from now on, (If I have the time to sous vide)
