Firmware Update

I am unable to perform the Firmware Update. Tried several times and keep getting "Update Failed " message. Anyone else having problems.

Are you attempting to do the update via WiFi or Bluetooth? I find that WiFi is faster as long as Joule has a good to excellent WiFi signal. If you are attempting the upgrade with Bluetooth you may need to have your device closer to Joule. Just know that it takes a little while and will actually install two updates, one does the update for Joule functionality and the other for WiFi. Both need to install, don't do anything with your devise or to Joule while performing the update. If both of these methods fail, I suggest submitting a support request in the Joule app: menu>support>Submit a Support Request I hope that helps.

Jack after you download the updated version of Joule app it should pop up and the bottom of your screen (At least it does for me using iOS). If for some reason that doesn't happen go to menu>settings>About This App ,to verify that you are operating on version 2.39.0 This version is require for the firmware update. If that is correct then you can go to menu>settings>device settings> click Update Joule's Software

I am using WIFI and I got the upgrade Via the new s/w upgrade. Have tried from my Ipad and IPhone, same problem.

We are currently rolling out the first Joule Software Update with the new app version 2.39.0. (edited) This is a slow roll out and currently only a small percentage of customers can see the option to update. When we validate the Joule Software is working as expected we will offer the update to everyone.

In general, you have to make sure you leave your phone/tablet on, awake, and running the app while the update is happening. If people continue to have issues, it's always a good idea to use the Support feature in the app to contact us directly. That way we can look into the issue in detail and work one-on-one with whomever is having a issue, if need be.

I contacted Support and they made an update on their end and I was able to perform the update. I was 28 hours into a 48 hour cook when I updated the app/firmware. All is well with my Mommofuko 48 hr short ribs. I've been wanting to rip open the bag and taste them.

Mine automatically updated yesterday to ver 2.39.0 not 2.40.0. Go figure.

This is a bit confusing as @Emmett_Barton_12803 had just posted that the update is 2.39.0 but your post states 2.40.0

I just updated the firmware that was issued today. I needed to put the iPhone in Airplane Mode and then connect to wifi before it would work.
