Clamps

Well last week I finally received my Joule.

I have always used coolers when I sous vide and the clamp that comes with Joule doesn't fit either cooler.

Any idea if/when other clamps will be available?

Metal 8-12 qt stock pot works great. Joule has magnet to hold steady.

Fall sometime was the projection. I found a quick and easy way to make one out of a wire hanger if you wanna go that route if waiting is not an option. It's not adjustable but it'll work provided you have a good eye for measurements. Just bend a wire hanger to work with the existing clip. It'll be interesting to see what others have come up with so far.

It's too bad I don't have a 3D printer. I'm sure it would be a little fun project to create one while we wait for the official clip to be available.

Or as @HammeredChef_DEFINITELY_does_NOT_work_at_22134 epoxy a large steel washer in the bottom and use the magnetic foot. Or if your cooler is too deep place a can of food in the bottom and set Joule on top using the magnetic foot.

Just make sure when bending the wire that when the clip slides up against the rubber piece, that it's a snug fit otherwise it'll just fall off. On the other end of the clip, make sure it doesn't flush against the cooler. There should be a slight gap that's less than the edge perimeter of the other rubber attachment. That should be snug against the cooler as well otherwise the joule won't connect straight and upright. Hope that helps.
