What to cook first? I'm thinking egg because it's fast.

Just don't be disappointed, eggs are a bitch to get right, especially the first time....BUT they go well with a Fume Blanc....

Turned out pretty good. The whites set nicely and a little too set on the yolks. Probably because they were medium eggs and not large.

Check out

post on eggs. A simple egg is one of the toughest things to get right. A very fresh, AA grade and large size are what most guides are based on. Any variable will change the outcome. Byrdie's egg in a jar really helps because you can see them cooking and where the white is for doneness. Have fun and please keep posting your creations and finding.

Or chicken breats, or thighs, or a burger, or pork chop... Also are pretty fast.

Yep I did pork chops for dinner. Turned out great but wish I started them a bit earlier to see if I could make them more tender with a longer cook. Although my wife said they were so tender compared to the jerky her mom made she wasn't sure if they were cooked enough! 😂 Yogurt is next. Any feedback on the CS recipe?
