How do you get the Joule Mac Address?

I just fired up my new Joule and ran into a problem. I use MAC address screening on my network to help with security. I looked on the packaging and unit didn't see it listed anywhere. Since I didn't have the address, I couldn't connect to it via my WiFi network.

I did a network scan and see a device from "Espressif Inc." Adding the associated mac address seemed to work. Is there any other way to do this?

Hi @DAVID_MOOR_298334! Unfortunately, we don't currently have a way to get the MAC address of the device. We're working on making this information available in future releases.

As a workaround, are you able to temporarily disable the MAC address whitelisting feature on your router? You should be able to then connect Joule to the internet. Most routers have the ability to view connected devices (along with MAC addresses) on the dashboard. Then you can add Joule to the whitelist, and re-enable the MAC address whitelisting.

Wow, incredibly fast response, and on a Sunday evening! Yes, turning off the filtering worked, and the Expresssif MAC address was correct as well. Added it to my permitted list and I'm good!

Got my address verification on nov.4 and still hasn't shipped everyone else who got the verification that day got it shipped out on the 11th. Any idea when mine will ship?
