Multiple Joules From One Device

Firstly, love my Joule!!!

Last I checked you still can't control multiple Joule's from one phone simultaneously. Is this still true? If so when will this be updated? It's the only thing that's preventing me from buying a second one!

Note: Have no interest in monkeying around with unpairing/repairing. It's gotta be a native part of the app!

Not yet, but it's coming. I have two, and I can't wait. That is the biggest feature I am wanting too. I have two devices but ...... Still not that convenient.

Not yet, but you can dup the app and use a different email and user name and it works (warning-it is resource heavy).

Do you share one CS Premium account across both devices? I installed one Joule on my phone, and the other on Jen's, but with the same CS account. I've been getting some funky behavior that I haven't had time to document. (Tiny house, etc.)

Hopefully it's a fairly high priority. I can't imagine it would be that difficult to add, but what do I know. Either way, I've been loving the results of extended cooks. Problem is, can't do weeknight dinners while Joule is busy!

I opened a second account to run the second one on a second devise. I was having issues trying with one account. I think it was because of the WiFi connection to ChefSteps servers was not being able to figure the difference between devices on the same account. I need to trouble shoot that. I think it is important to disconnect the WiFi totally on one Joule, just haven't had time to check that out yet. @Emmett_Barton_12803 any other ideas for a work around until the multiple Joule feature is available?

It was my understanding it would be somewhat unlimited, but I am sure that it would be within reason.

I had some discussions with the beta folks on an unrelated matter over the past couple of days, and I was able to discuss this too. There will be an official answer coming out soon, from what I understand...

Until then, the best way forward as I understand it is: 1 Joule per device and ChefSteps account - if you have multiple circulators, make sure and pair each with its own CS account.

From what I understand, there are tools to merge accounts when multiple circulator support arrives.

@Ellen_212162 or @Emmett_Barton_12803 can jump in and correct me if I'm wrong. Because I'm wrong a lot.
